Hi All,

Today i got response from a user about NetCop installation problem. The problem is NetCop installation stops after showing  the screen “Starting Installation…“.

Possible reason and solution for the problems are

1. Order of Harddrive and Cdrom in BIOS. Make harddrive primary master and cdrom as secondary master.

2. NetCop ISO image  may not be burn completely

3.  If installation process can’t read image from cdrom properly.

NetCop team always ready to hear your feedback.

At lab we are checking NetCop in and out to make it work, if the problem related with NetCop ISO image, we will definitely update the latest one.

Any query/question/suggestion regarding NetCop are welcome.

Thank you,

NetCop Team.

  1. We have try to resolve every errors with latest version of NetCop 1.1. If you have any problem with NetCop 1.0, try NetCop 1.1.

  2. I am having this same problem. I have burned the install CD twice, made the changes to my BIOS regarding the order of the disks. I downloaded the ISO again and burned it a third time and the installation is still hanging at “Starting Installation.” I’m using a Dell Optiplex GX270, P4 2.8GHz, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD. I’ve installed NetCop in a virtual machine and tested it before deploying it in my dedicated box. I’m at a loss as to why this is happening. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
